Q - What level of support does Mizuho provide for the Sandbox / testing?
Mizuho provides a mailbox (see Contact Us) which is monitored during office hours for queries, requests and feedback on the Sandbox facility. There is no telephone support provided at present. Please do not try to contact our Customer Contact Centre as they will not be able to assist with your enquiry.
Q - How do I become a registered TPP?
To access the APIs directly, TPPs need to be registered with Open Banking (OBIE) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or National Competent Authorities (NCAs), as either an AISP and/or PISP and/or CBPII.

Q - When should I come to Mizuho to deal with development issues and when should I go to Open Banking Ltd?
As a first port of call, you should refer to the OBIEs Developer Zone. If you have fulfilled all of the requirements documented there, and you would like to raise an issue with us directly, please use the email us at support@mizuhoemea.com.
You may well be asked for successful request / response calls that have been made against Open Banking Model Bank to assist in troubleshooting.

Q - What data does the Sandbox contain
The Sandbox [[SPH>>]] contains only test data which is mocked to provide a representative sample of what can be expected from the Live environment to provide a valid test for your applications. Our sandbox provides an opportunity for developers to test their app before building in production. The sandbox is a safe, secure environment where you can test your apps functionality and test our API integrations with your apps.
Q - Who can use the Mizuho APIs?
Any company or developer wanting to use the Mizuho APIs to build new customer experiences must be registered with Open Banking. You will also need to register your TPP Application on Mizuhos Sandbox to access a sandbox version of the APIs and start testing. For further details see the Getting Started section.
Q- Are any signed agreements required?
The Developer Portal and sandbox APIs only require acceptance of our terms of use and do not require any further contract signing.
